With my playwriting antenna up, because it was so loud, it kinda made me think of a play that happens on a dance floor, where there is no dialogue and all action. A couple is at a small table down left facing the audience enjoying the dance band in front of them. Then a stray dancer enters the scene dancing crazy. This dancer is oblivious to everything and just having a good time. But then there’s a couple who enters, and the guy is dancing like crazy and the girl is enjoying as well. But, then the guy is trying to get the sitting couple to dance. They don’t bite. And now he’s just getting obnoxious about it. And we play out this short scene. 2 wants, the guy trying to get the other couple to dance, the girl at the table doesn’t want to. What would make that this guy try so hard. Why is she resisting? And what does this random dancing guy have to do with all this. Hmmm, just for legal copyright stuff, I could use a track from Freestyle’s live CD as the background. Don’t even know if they pay for rights to use it. Oh, and see if there’s a specific song that tells this story. Possibly.
