This is actually a bio for Sinag-tala in the role of a graphic designer. But since, I’m more of a playwright now:
Conrad A. Panganiban joined Sinag-tala in 1994 and has designed a number of Sinag-tala’s flyers, posters, websites and other graphic material since 2003 after graduating from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Multimedia Design. He loves being Playwright as well. His works have been produced in Chicago by A-Squared Theatre Workshop, in San Fracisco by Bindlestiff Studio, Kearny Street Workshop, Sinag-tala Filipino Theater and Performing Arts Association, and various colleges and universities in Northern California including ESPERANZA MEANS HOPE, a full-length play about Domestic Violence in the Asian-American community which was co-produced with My Sister’s House. He is also a writer for the Filipino-American sketch comedy group, Taste Better Wit, who has performed at the 2012 SFSketch Fest. Conrad is proud to be a part of the Asian American Theatre Company’s NewWorks Incubator Program as an emerging Playwright. He is currently a student at San Francisco State University pursuing an MFA Degree with the Creative Writing Department’s Playwriting Program. His next play, ROMERO & JULIEANNE, will be produced by the 06 Ensemble at the Pear Theater in Mountain View, CA from December 7-9 along with other short plays by Julia Cho and Philip Kan Gotanda.
