It’s a pretty cool spot. I’m here on a Sunday getting some work done.
I like that it’s a family run business. The mom was proud that the croissants were freshly baked there, and it tasted great!
In terms of personal writing atmosphere though… not really my vibe. There’s a few tables and I count 2 of them are by outlets if you’re in the mood to type.
They don’t have any tea though.
They do have free wi-fi. You need to ask the counter for the network name and password which was given to me on a heart shaped wooden cut-out.
One thing I do notice is the community of people that come in. It’s nice to see people gather for coffee and talk. They talk about their lives and their family’s lives. Thinking about a playwriting exercise of listening to how other people speak. I usually listen for cadences and interruptions and the little spaces that fill out a conversation with “sures” and “yups.” But I’m captivated by some of the stories I’m hearing.
