What have I been up to since my last post you may ask? Well, let me tell ya!

Moving backward, in April 2021, I started teaching the Stories High XXI Writers Workshop! It’s a total full-circle moment when I can finally feel comfortable about teaching the class that got me into the world of playwriting. I’d like to think that I’ve gotten better as the weeks have gone on.

In March 2021, I was honored to be selected for my first time in a 24 hour playfest meaning I had 24 hours to write a play. I think I took 16 of those hours to write the 10 minute play, I’M HERE. Not sure if I posted the script yet, but if not, I’ll be sure to do that right after I finish this post.

And then on March 1st, I was pretty stoked to have my 10-minute play, RIVER’S MESSAGE, be presented by San Francisco Playhouse in their Zoomlet Series. I was really stoked to have this be directed by Jeffrey Lo featuring the actors Adrienne Walters, who was in my first Bench Play, ROMERO AND JULIEANNE, and Caroline Đỗ, a marvelous actor based in New York City.
All in all, it wasn’t that bad of the first quarter of the new year!
